Hello friends and family,

I am engaged to a powerful God-led evangelist named Reverend Nazish Ghouri. His ministry website is www.globalmission.webs.com . He has been a huge blessing in my life and continues to show me the love of God in his actions, words, and prayers. I know that we are one in spirit and feel honored to be with him. He has a heart for the poor, the sick, the lost, the persecuted.

We are going to accomplish the Great Commission together. But we are starting right where we are at in St. Catharines ON Canada. We hope to have our own church one day. We plan on being married March 26th. We got engaged this Valentines and had a beautiful ceremony. We annointed eachother with oil and spoke blessings and scripture over one another. We also sang worship songs to thank the Lord for eachother.

It was hard leaving my hometown, my family, and most of all my job as a youth pastor. But I realize that the only place where I will be blessed beyond measure and where I will be able to accomplish the will of God..is the place God wants us to be. I am excited about the plans God has for my life and I hope that I will have a chance to see you all along the journey and bless you. You're in my prayers. What Have We Done?

Society has often believed the more we recreate how life is lived the more we can redefine life itself. But I believe this to be a common misconception in our society. No matter how things change around us, the laws in which God has made the world will always stand. We will always be creations with a need for emotional, spiritual, and physical growth.

Even though our world prides itself on new upcoming technology they are blind to see how technology is not going to fix the world. Television may teach a new generation many things, but is it worth sacrificing a child’s ability to connect with their world and people on a personal level. It is great that we have satellites that can pinpoint what is happening in the world, but did we want the world to hear and see what is going on in our homes. How far are we willing to go in technology before we are sacrificing our freedoms of speech and privacy?

Is our world improving itself or just choosing to ignore a crucial part of life by fantasizing about a new world being created?

A Supernatural God

The Gospels & Acts Reflection Paper:

While reading the Gospels and Acts, I found some implications to being invisible and being transported. Both of these spiritual experiences are not widely known or spoken of, but the Lord had the disciples use them as often as needed. Paul was made invisible while passing the guards in the prison in Acts 12:7. Jesus was transfigured on the mountain while He visited with Elijah and Moses in Matthew 17:2. Jesus shone like the sun. Many times in prayer, there is an inward change in people, but also external. People who pray a lot glow with the essence of Christ. For example, in Acts 6:15 Stephen’s face looked as that of an angel while being falsely accused by the council.

Jesus fasted for the forty days and forty nights, as mentioned in Matthew 4:1, and He was not hungry. But after the fast was over He had become hungry. I believe the Lord can give us supernatural strength to endure fasting when we fast in obedience and surrender to Him. For the Spirit of God led Him into the wilderness to fast and this was the preparation for His ministry. If Jesus had to fast and be prepared for forty days and forty nights, how much more must we do to prepare ourselves for the ministry?

In Acts 8:39 Philip is caught away by the Spirit of the Lord and transported to Azotus. In this generation we are starting to hear about more people being transported in the Spirit, but it is still not often recognized as a gift of ministry. A supernatural healing gift which was spoken of in Acts 5:15 is truly a testimony of what the Holy Spirit can accomplish through us as we walk by faith and compassion. People were healed just by Peter’s shadow touching them as he walked by.

In John 21:4 After Jesus was raised He visited the disciples including Simon Peter, but Jesus came in a form they had not seen before, because they did not recognize Him until they saw the miracle He had performed. Another time transportation is mentioned is when the disciples were in the boat in John 6:21 and saw Jesus walking on water. When the disciples received Him into their boat, immediately they were transported to the place they were headed.

The Lord did many signs and wonders in the Gospels to open up the minds and hearts of the disciples to receive an understanding of the supernatural power of God before receiving the Holy Spirit. The Lord was breaking off the mindset of legalism and transforming it so they could have freedom in the Spirit of God to heal the sick, set free the captives, cast out demons, multiply food, be transported, raise the dead, and walk on water. What a wonderful gift God has given believers, so that they may daily walk in victory and live in abundance.

What can I say? I am going through a transitional period where God is making known to me His unconditional love. Everytime I make a mistake...I am just waiting for God to rain down on me with fire from heaven, some kind plaque, or life long punishment. But instead I feel His embrace, I receive His love, and His words are words that draw me to Him not away from Him.

I am tired...of making soo many mistakes in search of acceptance and love, but I have now made the decision to give my whole heart to God and surrender my dreams and desires to Him. I know that if I can't even give my whole heart to the lover of my soul, the One who sacrificed His own life for me, the One that bore my sickness and disease on the cross, the One who gave me life when I was dead in sin, the One that restored me in His love when I was filled with bitterness and hatred, the One that put my broken heart back together; then how could I ever give my heart to an imperfect man if I can't give it to Jesus who is perfect in love? He tells me how HE desires to give me all the desires of my heart and bless me beyond measure with a wonderful husband and family and ministry.

But no matter what I receive or what dreams are fulfilled, there is no greater love in the world or even the universe or even in all three heavens than the love of Jesus Christ.....I guess I've just found the best place in the whole world...to be in the arms of Jesus.....and I never want to let go...

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39

I encourage you to seek out and search out this great love if you have never known it's depth, it's power, or it's embrace. Because there is no greater love, than the love of a Friend to lay down His life for you. Love beyond measure is the love that He wants to give you....so just receive....

The Bride of Christ

Hey! I thought the bride of Christ was the church, but I was wrong. It is every single believer that seeks to know the heart of God and draw closer to Him. It took me soo many relationships and painful heartbreaking break ups, for God to get my attention. I have made the decision to do what God has placed on my heart and I am gonna need lots of accountability.

No longer will I be dating or in any relationships beyond a friendship level for 2 years. This is going to be a very intresting and hard two year commitment, but I believe it is the right thing to do. Just the thought of accomplishing this goal seems impossible, but it is possible through Christ. I have been running towards an alter with no groom in hand for so long and marriage has been plaguing my mind with none stop dreams and hopes, but I have only had one serious relationship. And it couldn't have been that serious because the guy was on drinking a lot. But now I have to sacrifice my desire to be married, every opportunity I have for getting close to guys, and become the number one best role model for saying NO to relationships. So keep me in your prayers.

Well, I may be a little crazy, but I know I have to do this, because the Lord said to me that if I can't be fully satisfied with the One that loves me perfectly, then how will I ever be satisfied by someone who loves me imperfectly. Something to think about. Also, I recognize life isn't all about getting married and having a family, even though those are great goals to accomplish in life. Life is about living in the fullness of what God purposed you for. When you are living the life He planned for you from the foundation of the world....you find your purpose, you bring love and hope to others, and you store up eternal treasures in heaven. Those who live life to love others end up loving to live. Be blessed..

Hey All U Xanga TIME TRAVELERS!!!

Hey! While in deep thought today I went into another world and started thinking about odd stuff, so listen for some weird kind of revelation. I was thinkin about all the people that don't believe in the invisible world where there are angels and demons. Where is the logic in not believing in the invisible? I mean even the wind is invisible. But you know the affects of the wind and how it feels. You see how the trees start to sway back and forth and leaves fly across parking lots and rain falls straight down facing you, so u know it is raining right in your face.

to continue....I was wondering what other things in our world are invisible besides the wind...can you guess? Your thoughts and your emotions are invisible...you can see someone acting out based off of love, compassion, fear, hate, bitterness, anger, joy, etc...but you don't see those things in each person unless they choose to express it through facial features or actions...so the number one battle we face daily in our emotions and feelings and attitudes...is a battle between us and the spiritual realm unless we choose to show it to others....so how do we really know that counselors understand exactly what we are going through and how we feel...if they don't feel our hearts being torn open with pain, or rejection being sooo deep down inside us that we are constantly worried about how people perceive us, or how long a past relationship has been weighing on our hearts and minds....then we have no proof that a counselor can clearly feel and understand what we individually are facing though they may come close through experience.

So this takes me to my next point..We sometimes expect people to be super heros and if they are anything less we get disappointed, but what right do we have to expect more out of other people then what we would want them to expect out of us....lower your expectations for people and you won't be soo sensitive to their every mistake...and higher your expectations for God and see Him go far beyond them...because He is God and nothing is impossible for Him......Be blessed and thanks for reading my crazy insights.....and hollar back at me...not tooo loud though...I am not hard of hearing.... hehehehe... thanks......

Do U Need A Change?

If we want God to change our lives and fix the messes we have made, we first must get on our hands and knees and repent for making foolish decisions without His direction. God promises us peace and we choose chaos. God promises prosperity and we choose poverty. God promises healing and we choose sickness. God promises us freedom and we choose bondage. God promises justice and we choose revenge. God promises us purity and we choose lust.

We clearly see God’s hand in all Creation. We see the heavens that declare His majesty. We watch a seed as small as a fingernail grow into a massive tree the reaches higher than 500 feet. We see the miracle of babies being born. We see how the system of creation is perfect and works when we are faithful to protect life and the earth. We see trillions of stars in the sky and many other planets filling the universe. How can we deny that there is a Creator when we are such an amazing creation?

How can we deny that there is a God if there is even a small amount of good in the world? Where does good come from? Every effect has a cause. Love comes from somewhere. Someone isn’t born with a natural instinct to love. People are born with a totally selfish spirit, which changes as they grow up and recognize they can’t have everything they want. But when does the meaning, the power, the essence of love begin to grow and flourish in them? What is the source of love?

How can we deny there is satan if there is even a tiny amount of evil in our world? We see rapists killing their victims, gangs slaughtering people for drugs, people stealing from the poor, greed consuming, hatred and vengeance feeding on our generation. Anger boiling over into rage and then murder. How can we ignore that there is utter evil in our world when we see how people are being eaten alive. What is this source of evil?

Without God how can there be any good in us. Can we be totally unselfish without the help of God? Can we give without expecting to receive? Can we have a broken heart and compassion for those dying with aids that draws us to go beyond our own boundaries to love? Can we go to our enemy and love on them with a greater love then we have ever known without God? God is the true source of love and the only One that can impart in us a love so great that our existence isn’t our main concern, but the existence of others has become our passion and life long journey. There is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for his friend. This is an act of love from God.

Jesus sacrificed Himself so that every wrong you have done can be washed away and you can have a close intimate relationship with your CREATOR. God has known you since before the foundations of the earth. God is passionate about His love for you. Why do you seek to be satisfied by temporary things that soon pass away, when you can have a love that lasts for eternity? Why run from your destiny? You were created with a great purpose that can leave a legacy of love on a generation. If you desire this unconditional love. A love that no one deserves. A love that you didn’t die to obtain. Then cry out to JESUS, ask for forgiveness for running from Him rather then embracing Him, and receive the fullness of His love and mercy.

Still Doing the Impossible:

While reading “Still Doing the Impossible,” I learned so much. When Oral Roberts wrote about how many people go into a ministry position without first seeking God to find out if they have been called, it reminded me that there are a lot of spiritually dead churches in this generation. And it can be a direct cause of people training to be ministers without first being called into that field. Many people have been deceived or even left the church completely, because of situations where they were being preached to by pastors or leaders that twisted the Word of God or didn’t have a personal relationship with the Father.

It doesn’t matter what profession or specific job someone has, but what matters is that God has called them to that place of ministry. For if God calls you then you know that you will be prepared by Him to make the difference where ever you go. I had a desire to have a youth conference in my hometown based off visions and dreams God gave me. But I tried to make it happen myself, before His time had come. I wasn’t able to impart the anointing at that time, because God had not yet given it to me. I knew how to let God speak through me, but unbelievers need an impartation of the glory of God and the power of God to touch them. Lately, God has been teaching me how to release the anointing He places on me into others and I know I still have a lot to learn.

But my greatest fear was falling into the lifestyle of the people who live there, because it is easy to get mediocre when living amongst satanists and goths. I also was afraid that I wouldn’t have a enough light in me to impart to all of them living in the darkness of sin. But God set me free from the fear of rejection, so I would be able to stand up for Him no matter what people say or do. Also, God told me that whatever dark place He sends me, He sends me with enough light to fully overcome that darkness for His glory.

I also enjoyed reading about how Oral had to believe God for the invisible. What a hard thing for a minister to face. He was asked to believe that his son’s birth would be delayed and then stood in agreement with his wife for this to happen. His faith is a true testimony to me. He believed that what he spoke forth in the physical God would bring forth in the spiritual and physical. Oral Roberts believes that the impossible is possible through Christ and is a living testimony of that truth.

He shared the story of how Evelyn and him both played worship music side by side at a youth camp and years later he was directed by God to go back and visit her. They ended up getting married, but the advice he gave me was let God lead me to my future spouse. So I daily surrender my desire for a godly husband in the hands of God and believe that God knows what He wants for me, so I should just trust Him and be obedient to accomplish the plans He has for me this day.

He also talked about how a couple should have Bible study and prayer times together far beyond their own personal study times and prayer times. I can see how a couple engaging in the Word of God together and sharing and building each other up would really strengthen their relationship and take them to another level. Also, I was always taught the saying that, “The family that prays together stays together.” Prayer unites spirits, but also reveals unmet needs that God desires to fill out of the fullness of His love and power.

Oral Roberts had to trust God to repel the efforts of the enemy that rose up against him in his crusades. God manifested his glory in the crusades to such a level that the faith of the people grew to a greater extent and they were ready to receive. But there were definitely groups of people that opposed what was being accomplished and weren’t afraid to admit it. But even in the midst of intimidation and demonic attacks, Oral Roberts did not step down from the platform of ministry and that is one thing that I highly admire. I also recognize how easy it is for Christians to conform to the laws that restrict their rights and how easily they conform to the world around them, so they can be accepted. But God is seeking a remnant of people that will stand firm on His Word and be obedient to His call and authority no matter what persecution may come.

A Complacent Church:

In this generation we have seen the church become complacent. In a time where there are more abortions than live births in Washington D.C., where we see elderly people being assisted in their suicides, where the elderly are going back to work in their old age, because they aren't being given enough on welfare, and where drugs have escalated, because of a lack of morality being taught in schools. We see many teenage suicides, many teens on drugs, many teens that are pregnant, many teens that are cutting themselves, and what is the church doing to hold back the tidal wave from claiming the young generation?

The church was meant to provide for widows, give counsel and training to the teenagers, college students, and parents, to help the congregation get their vision from God and accomplish it, to get involved in government so laws are written that will protect the needs of the people, and to bring heaven on earth for the glory of God. How bright is the light of the church in this generation when young people are being fed the lies of the media, when single parents are having a hard time getting out of poverty, when the divorce rate is the same inside the church as well as outside the church, when more money is being put into the church building then used to meet the needs of the congregation?

We must be aware that God established the church body to be light in the darkness, not to divide itself completely from the darkness and let the worldliness reign without shining in the midst of it. Many believe that Christians and the church congregation will be more holy by restraining from getting involved in the world's system. What a lie? How can we bring change in the system if we don't even understand the system of government, education, welfare, health, and entertainment?

We are called to go into every man's world to affect change for the glory of God in every realm. We are not holy of ourselves, but by the blood of Christ shed for us we are cleansed and so now we can be effective in doing what the Lord would do in this generation. The Lord would go to where the people are in need and dying and depressed. The Lord would gather people together to unite with one mission and that mission is to love your neighbor as yourself. When you see a need, you are responsible to try to meet that need and if you can't do it by yourself, then find people who can meet that need. If we were seeking to meet the needs of others in every area of life, then our world would be a much better place.

Love is the Fire

My friend John received this quote while in prayer, “Love is the fire for the fuel of obedience.” Growing in a Christian home with many rules to follow and many restrictions made it easy to obey for fear of the punishment rather than out of love. Over the years I found myself becoming more rebellious against the many rules I followed, because many of my friends had no such rules to follow and I felt my freedom was being taken away.

As I got older and felt that rules did not apply to me any longer, I started leaping in my freedom of disobedience. The first time to drink alcohol, the first time to be in a sexual relationship, the first time to lie to my parents, the first time to go to a party. Many things I wanted to experience that I knew were forbidden, but I didn’t know why. We don’t always need to know why things are wrong. We don’t always need to experience all the bad things to know that they will lead to spiritual death.

The more seered our conscience becomes as we partake in sin, the less we are able to sense the Holy Spirit’s conviction in our lives and if we go far enough we will feel no conviction only the emptiness inside of being totally dead to the Spirit. God knew that in our nature we despise all restrictions. We are a people created for adventure, accomplishing the impossible, and living above the law.

The Lord knew we needed balance in our lives to be able to know right from wrong and good from evil. God didn’t create laws to keep us held back from experiencing the good things in life. God created laws, so that we can have life more abundantly. He knew that there would be many things in life that could trap us from receiving our blessing. He knew sexual sin could lead to disease and then death. God told man to have one wife and to wait until marriage until there are sexual relations, because God recognizes that romance should always be coupled with commitment.

Since God made the laws out of love for our benefit, we must obey those laws out of a love for God and a trust that He knows what is best for us. And that love we have for God will be our fuel to obey His laws and live in the fullness of His blessings.
